Spiraling's 2008 Halloween Show (Prince/Purple Rain) [Nov. 2nd, 2008|09:13 pm]

[mood |excitedexcited]

Spiraling was Prince and the Revolution for this year's annual Halloween show at the Court Tavern (New Brunswick, NJ). They played "Purple Rain" in its entirety. It was AMAZING!! Don't believe me? See the videos as evidence!!

COMPUTER BLUE (whole song):

WHEN DOVES CRY (segment of song):

I helped out with makeup on both Tom and Marty. Super-fun!! I'm still reeling from how awesome the show was! Just thought I'd share the videos so you could see them!

Time Travel Made Easy pre-order [Apr. 23rd, 2008|08:55 am]
Spiraling Fans

So did anyone else pre-order the new CD, "Time Travel Made Easy"? I did. It came with a bonus download of three additional CDs: the "Limited Time" four track EP, the "Spiraling Live In New York City 11.13.04" CD, and the Hello CD from back in the day.

I listened to "Limited Time" and "Spiraling Live" this morning on the way in to work, and it just got me more excited for the new album, only about 3 more weeks to go! I know that some of the songs they played when I last saw them live in 2005 are going to be on the new album, I can't wait to hear how they've evolved from what they sounded like then to what made it onto the album. :)

I also really hope they tour after the album is released, it's been far too long since I saw them live! :)

OK I'm done rambling now.

Emusic [Feb. 16th, 2008|04:57 pm]
Spiraling Fans

Don't know how often people check this, but I figured I'd give it a shot. I downloaded Spiraling's 04.30.04 show off Emusic awhile ago, and track 2 "(I Don't Want to) Grow Up" is only 2:05, ending very prematurely. I was wondering if others had this problem. I think maybe something just happened during my download and messed it up. You can re-download things you've bought off Emusic, so in attempting to do that, I've discovered that Spiraling is not on Emusic anymore. So no luck. Does anyone have this track? I'll even send you my short version along with the rest of the album to prove I bought it. Please help.

You Were Spiraling - "Delusions of Grandeur" [Dec. 16th, 2006|04:53 pm]
Spiraling Fans

In case anyone's interested, I found a page that has the track listing and a small, pixelated pic of the cover of the "Delusions of Grandeur" cd.

I'm happy to say that the only track off that CD I'm missing is "Squirm", I have the rest of it. If anyone ever comes across "Squirm", let me know. :)

Does anyone own the You Were Spiraling discs besides the Hello CD? Does anyone know if they're ever planning on reissuing them? I would do pretty much anything to get my hands on these.

Hi friends,

As you know, the purevolume song previews continue...every week, a new song is added, and that means one has to be taken away to get room.

We really want to get spiraling's plays to the top of the chart, so you can do your part by visiting www.purevolume.com/spiraling each and every day and playing each of the 4 songs - that's 4 plays a day, to your credit!

And please pass this on to your friends as well..spread that holiday cheer!
